Inspired by the vision of our founders, Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst, Dartington is a place of experiment, education and enterprise where the arts, social justice and sustainability come together.

Every year, Dartington must raise a significant amount to ensure our charitable activities can flourish and grow, and to maintain this beautiful estate which inspires the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come here each year.

Your support is vital to our work. Whether you share our passion for the arts, social justice and sustainability, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our gardens — or simply appreciate the wonderful legacy and vision of our founders the Elmhirsts — please consider supporting Dartington’s work and help us make a difference.

There are several ways you can become a part of Dartington and support our vision for the future:

1. Make a one-time donation to support our work in the arts, social justice and sustainability.
2. Make a donation to support the Dartington grounds and gardens.
3. Become a Dartington Member. Membership starts at £35, or just under £3 monthly through Direct Debit Direct Debit. As a Dartington member, you will receive a range of special benefits including discounts on tickets at the Barn Cinema and invitations to special members’ only events throughout the year.
