1 Information we collect

1.1 THE DARTINGTON HALL TRUST (the “Trust”) does not capture and store any personal information about individuals who access this website, except where you voluntarily choose to give us your personal details via email or other means or by enquiring about any of the services offered on our website or as described in paragraph 1.2 below.

1.2 The Trust web site uses cookies for the purposes of analysing its use and tracking the popularity of its pages, and occasionally to enhance the functionality of some sections of the website such as the archive search facility. No retained details are linked to any personal data and all visitors to our site remain anonymous.

2 How this information is treated and used

2.1 The Trust is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998, and all information about you held by it is treated in confidence and according to the terms of the Act.

2.2 The personal information you give us by email or other means is used exclusively by the Trust for the purpose of answering any query you may have. By providing the data it is assumed that you have consented to such use.

2.3 We don’t pass any of your personal data to outside organisations and/or individuals, except with your consent.

3 Your choices

3.1 Once you have sent a request to us for information, your details will be kept on our files. You may update your details or ask for your details to be removed from our files if you wish by contacting the Trust by one of the means described at the end of this Privacy Policy.

3.2 You have a right to know about the personal information The Trust HOLDS ABOUT YOU and the purposes for which it is being used. Please contact the Trust (see contact details at the bottom of this Privacy Policy) if you wish to know more about the information the Trust holds on you.
