Abundant Life Public Consultations - What do you think?

People are at the heart of the Abundant Life project; those who live in the local community, potential residents of the scheme, those who already work with older people and those who would like to do so. Throughout the course of the project we have worked hard to make sure that people have a say in what we’re trying to achieve and that their voices are heard. Since the idea of a residential community for older people first blossomed we have held 17 open consultation sessions in local towns and 4 design workshops here on the estate.

We’re now planning our next public consultation to make sure that you have another chance to have a look at our plans, to see how your comments and suggestions have shaped them and to let us know if there’s anything else we can do to get this project right for you before we submit our planning application.

These events are open to all and will be held on:

Tuesday 13 December 2011, 2 pm to 7 pm at the Mansion in Totnes Saturday 17 December 2011, 10 am to 12 noon at Dartington Village Hall

Staff from the project team will be on hand throughout both of these events to answer your questions and to help you to have your say.

In between the open sessions, there will be a display of all the plans and materials here on the Dartington Estate from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 December. Please feel free to come along and visit us on any of these days between 11 am and 3 pm in Studio 4. in the Space building.

As we get closer to submitting our planning application we will do our best to communicate with you at every opportunity to ensure that you are up to date with our progress and have all the information you would like on the project.
