Records relating to the Globe and Queen's theatres, adjacent London theatres acquired in 1930. The theatres were purchased with profits from the Maurice Browne Ltd production of R C Sherriff's play, 'Journey's End'. Records consist of legal and business correspondence about the properties, and annual audits from 1940 through 1956. Also, an audit report for Maurice Browne Ltd for the year 1929. The Globe Theatre was renamed the Gielgud Theatre in 1995.
