Material includes: minutes from 1 meeting of the Sub-Committee, 10 meetings of the Advisory Committee, and 2 Annual General Meetings of the MMBDGDC; results from an experiment at Well Park Farm, Buckfastleigh, 'Intensive Manuring of Grassland for Dry Grass Production'; a programme for 'Grassland Demonstration', Dartington, 1951; a report of a meeting of Chairmen of Grass Drying Advisory Committees; notes on a Conference of Chairmen of Grass Drying Committees; MMBDGDC annual reports; a report on a meeting of representatives of interested organisations on Devon Agricultural Education and Advisory Work; tables and reports of costs; tables showing the results of the MMB Grass Drying Department; 'A Report on the Results of a Dried Grass Feeding Survey carried out amongst the contracting farmers at Dartington during the Winter 1952-1953'; a press cutting; a plan of the Grass Drying Plant. Also correspondence between Peter Sutcliffe and: W R Trehane, Manor Farm; members of the Milk Marketing Board including, R Pepperall, R W Channon, and T Hollins; J Morrey; F Darke, Manager, MMBDGDC; G Stapledon, Dunns Farm Seeds; D Baglow, Devon Agricultural Executive Committee; A Adams; J Davies, MMB primarily regarding meetings, finance, the purchase of a cuber, and a Conference of Grass Drying Chairmen. Also a copy of a letter to J R Currie from W Davies, Grassland Research Station.
