Records cover Theatre department activities, which grew out of the Drama department and in 1965 fused with Dance. There is information about the setting up of the Plymouth Stonehouse project and the London Hope (Sufferance) Wharf project, both third year elements of the Theatre degree course to explore urban communities and the function of theatre within these communities. Included are Theatre Papers published by the Department of Theatre.
