Saturday 26 June, Dartington Hall

Dartington Hall will become a festival playground at the new HOME Festival on Saturday 26 June.

HOME, Dartington’s first-ever acoustic festival of world and folk music, offers a brand-new summer day out for families, combining musical intimacy, fun, participation, smiles and surprises.

Thomas Brooman, HOME’s Artistic Advisor and co-founder of the world-famous WOMAD festival, said: “The festival features a line-up of top-class international artists and there are tons of family activities, some very special music workshops, films and lots besides. And for football fans looking forward to the Saturday evening match, you can watch the game among friends – at HOME.”

The line-up features Eddi Reader, African superstars Bassekou Kouyate and Amy Sacko, Asere from Cuba, Colombia’s Carolina Herrera, Patrick Duff and many more.

David Francis, Dartington’s Director of the Arts says: “HOME will be an unforgettable day of music, voice and language in truly stunning surroundings. Festivals are a fantastic way for people to have fun and a positive shared experience together and that’s what we want to provide through HOME this summer.”

Tickets for HOME are nearly sold out and only a few tickets will be available on the day – organizers strongly advise booking in advance at www.dartington.org/home or on 01803 847074.

With full-price tickets costing £35 and concession tickets at £20, the festival is also great value for money – and one person under 16 comes for free with each paying adult.
