Sue Kellam is showing her paintings and drawings in the Round House during August and September

Sue Kellam is showing her paintings and drawings in the Round House of the Barn Theatre during the month of August. She has worked at Dartington in a variety of capacities since 1964 but some 20 years ago she took 5 years out to study art, obtaining a BA hons. in fine art in 1992. Since then she has worked part time as resident florist at Dartington.

Her lively, colourful paintings and drawings are loosely based on the local landscape and seascapes.   She  works very spontaneously and looks on each work as an adventure with no idea of the outcome.   Before starting any new work she reminds herself that painting and drawing is simply a mystery to be experienced and that means letting go of preconceptions.

During August the Round House will be open from 4 to 8  from Tuesday to Sunday and from 12 noon to 8 on Saturdays.  During September the Round House will be open from 12 noon to 8. It is closed on Mondays.

The exhibition will run until Sunday 14th September.
