New Cider Press Café opening
The new café at the Cider Press Centre has now opened following an extensive refurbishment. The new eatery launched this week with a summer menu offering a range of light lunches, bakehouse specials, cakes and treats. The Cider Press Café opens at 10am each day with an extensive range of teas, coffees and refreshing cold drinks.
With sofas providing a relaxed area for coffee, a small play area of children and plenty of dining for lunches – the Cider Press Café is the perfect place to meet your friends, bring the family or treat yourself!

The Cider Press Cafe can be found among 13 shops and eateries in the village atmosphere of the Dartington Cider Press Centre. Situated on the edge of the historic Dartington Hall Estate in the Devon countryside, within easy reach of Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth.
We are fortunately situated to take advantage of the tradition of good food which exists in the South West of England. Whenever possible, we use local produce for our ingredients, simply because of the outstanding quality available.
Mediterranean tapas evenings
Following the success of the Mediterranean tapas evenings last year, the Cider Press Café from Thursdays to Sundays evenings (5-8pm) throughout the summer , the eatery at the Cider Press Centre will be turned into a Mediterranean tapas bar.
The first tapas evening this year will be on Friday 19th June. Booking is recommended by calling 01803 847524.
With a fantastic new tapas menu on offer with dishes including Spanish meatballs, spiced aubergine, calamari and allioli, spicy chicken, chorizo & calamari, and chilli & walnut dumplings.
Choose from the wide range of individual dishes or why not share a full Mediterranean feast of 7 dishes of your choice, 2 sides, olives and nachos for £25.
