Raising Funds for Dartington

We’re doing some amazing things at Dartington.

We work hard to conserve and protect over 1,200 acres of woodland and pasture as well as over 40 listed buildings on the Dartington Hall estate.

Through our work in the arts, sustainability and social justice we are addressing some of today’s most pressing problems.

We are exploring and developing some exciting and groundbreaking new ideas including a dynamic independent living project for retirees and affordable housing concepts.

£5 could buy 15 hedgerow trees to help create sustainable hedges and wildlife habitats on the estate
£5 monthly direct debit for 1 year could help maintain 4,000 books for students studying sustainability and ecology at Schumacher College
£12 monthly donation for 1 year could pay for the planting of 1 oak tree every month on the Dartington Hall estate
£50 could buy, maintain and monitor 1 bat box for our bat conservation programme
£100 could buy a pair of cymbals for use by students at the Dartington International Summer School
£100 could replace regular fuel with 2 tonnes of woodchip on the Dartington Hall Estate, saving 1.5 tonnes of CO2
£1,000 could pay for a disadvantaged young person to attend a week at the Dartington Summer Youth Programme, learning to play ‘strings from scratch’ or make a pop video.
£40,000 could buy a sustainable ‘housing pod’ as part of our experiment into sustainable living
£700,000 would refurbish grade 2-listed Warren House, a significant example of international modernist architecture, designed and built by William Lescaze in 1935.
