The Dartington Cider Press sale is now on! The Cider Press Centre will be opening the doors of its fifteen shops, eating places and workshops with bargains in every store.
For the first year ever Dartington Cider Press has added some eco-sparkle to the Christmas shopping experience, by switching its traditional fairy lights with 7,000 brand new LED lights that burn brighter than conventional fairy lights but use 10% of the energy – adding a touch of eco-magic to your shopping experience.
On Wednesday 3, 10 and 17 December, Dartington Cider Press is inviting the public on a special late night ghost tour, led by a group of paranormal investigators called ‘Hidden Realms’ – who have been on site exploring the supernatural stirrings of the 17th Century shopping village.
The largest straw bale building in Devon is being constructed on the Dartington Hall estate, as part of the new carbon and waste neutral community saw mill run by Greyfield Timber – a Dartington Land Scope project that will provide a year round supply of local, sustainable, and cost effective fuel to the Totnes and South Hams community.
At 7.00pm on the 31 October The Dartington Hall Trust dares to host the hottest and most pressing debate of the day – bringing two of the UK’s leading financial gurus to the Great Hall – as we ask “The Credit Crunch – City Mess or Media Manoeuvring?”
