SW Businesses stumble, kick, scream and laugh their way towards sustainability

On March 12th Dartington Hall in association with Business Network (SW) is hosting a Sustainability Networking Dinner for regional businesses keen to get to grips with sustainability and have a really good time in the process.

The dinner, drinks and networking event will start at 6.30pm and feature local and national speakers such as Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf, Scrapheap Challenge and champion of sustainable driving), Guy Watson (Riverford Organics), Simon Hooton (South West Regional Development Agency) and Charlie McConnell (Director of Sustainability at Dartington)– all determined to provide simple and practical insight into how SW businesses can become more sustainable in the changing economic, social and environmental climate.

Simon Hooton (SWRDA) will be taking the audience ‘kicking and screaming’ into a sustainable future and Guy Watson (Riverford Organics), will be tantalising taste buds with his thoughts about food in the South West and how the sector can stay ahead of the curve by moving towards low carbon food.

Charlie McConnell (Dartington) will then take to the podium, to offer refreshing and simple advice on business training and how to turn sustainability at work into an opportunity for financial growth. The evening will culminate in an after dinner speech by Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf, Scrapheap Challenge) who will share his rather unorthodox views and amusing experiences in his popular talk ‘Stumbling Towards Sustainability’.

So come and join us in the magnificent 14th Century Great Hall for an informative and entertaining insight in to “Sustainability” while enjoying fine dining and the company of the South West’s leading businesses.

Tickets are priced at £30 each (not including accommodation) and can be ordered before Monday 9th March by emailing bookings@dartingtonhall.com
