The White Hart pub sits at the heart of the stunning 1,200 acre Dartington estate, nestled alongside the medieval Great Hall under the bowers of ancient trees.
With a dedicated team of chefs delivering lunches full of flavour (often with zero-food miles ingredients), and a well-stocked bar including a vast range of real ales, wine and gin, it’s the ideal place to settle down on Sunday afternoon.
Choose a table in the grand feasting hall under a dramatic 60 foot beamed ceiling, or hunker down in the cosy ‘snug’.

With 880 acres of verdant forests, abundant wildlife and clear rivers, the Dartington estate offers the perfect backdrop to walks of all lengths and difficulties.
It’s the perfect place to take in the autumn leaves, watch wildlife or simply stretch your legs. The kids will be entertained too – spotting the deer in our historic Deer Park, for example, or going wild on our natural play area.
