Gardens Photography Competition

Thursday 06 September

Congratulations to Barry Cornes, the winner of our latest Gardens Photography Competition.

Are you a keen photographer, a gardens enthusiast, a lover of the great outdoors or all three? We’ve launched a seasonal competition open to non-professional photographic enthusiasts.

To take part simply submit your snap, the one which you think best captures or interprets the spirit of our garden through the camera lens. Your photo for the season of Spring must fit under one of the following headings:
1. Spring has sprung.
2. Garden magic and mystery.
3. Rest and Relaxation.

We would love to see your snaps and will choose one overall winning picture for the season of Spring. But remember your photo must be clearly recognisable as having been taken within The Dartington Hall Trust gardens.

We invite you to enter the competition by emailing your snaps to gardenpictures@dartington.org. We will choose one winning image for the season. The lucky winner will bag a copy of the book One Endless Garden by Carol Ballenger, by Carol Ballenger, and have their winning photo featured on The Dartington Hall trust website.

We will count the seasons as follows:
Spring: beginning of March to the end of May.
Summer: beginning of June to the end of August.
Autumn: beginning of September to the end of November.
Winter: beginning of December to the end of February.

If you have questions about the competition, please see the comments box below.

Will you feature all photos submitted on a gallery on the website each month?

Hi Cookie, only the winning image will be posted on our website each month. However we may well post other submissions to photo albums on social media networks, such as Facebook and Pinterest. Thanks for your question! Katrina, Dartington Comms Team
