Back for another year and this time happiness is centre stage.

Through music, debate, dance and art we’re going to be scaling the peaks and pits of happiness, trying to find out just why happiness has become such a serious business in our society today.

This year we’ve joined forces with Action for Happiness, which aims to create a happier society for all whilst helping people all over the world to combat their blues.

Putting this right requires a shift in priorities, both in our politics and our behaviour. Action for Happiness has tens of thousands of members taking action to increase happiness, by learning how to improve their own wellbeing and also by helping to make others happier and create a better society for everyone.
