Scope: How does your project contribute to the land scope project in terms of primary, secondary and tertiary land uses?

Physical and Planning: Are there suitable sites available given the land, property, service and infrastructure needs and planning requirements of your project?

People: Do you have skills and experience and a good track record in the proposed area of endeavour?

Financial: Is your project financially self-reliant?

Connectivity: Is your project connected to at least one other activity on the Dartington Hall Estate?

At the Full Proposal Stage

Values: Does your project align with the Trust’s values, purpose and strategic aims?

Uniqueness: How does your project uniquely benefit from and contribute to the distinctiveness of Dartington?

Financial robustness: Is there a robust business plan and marketing strategy?

Sustainability impacts: How does your project promote sustainability and what are the social, environmental and economic impacts?

Sustainability solutions: Does the project offer practical solutions to the sustainability challenges on the Dartington Hall Estate and wider region?

Experimentation with new social and economic models: Does your project offer an innovative approach?

Restorative: How does your project sustain and enhance the quality and beauty of the land and related environmental resources on the Estate?

Passion: Are you passionate about the project and able to inspire others?
