For the first year ever Dartington Cider Press has added some eco-sparkle to the Christmas shopping experience, by switching its traditional fairy lights with 7,000 brand new LED lights that burn brighter than conventional fairy lights but use 10% of the energy – adding a touch of eco-magic to your shopping experience.
On Wednesday 3, 10 and 17 December, Dartington Cider Press is inviting the public on a special late night ghost tour, led by a group of paranormal investigators called ‘Hidden Realms’ – who have been on site exploring the supernatural stirrings of the 17th Century shopping village.
On 1 December 2008, Charlie McConnell will take over as Dartington’s first Director of Sustainability – overseeing the internationally renowned Schumacher College, the Land Scope Project and Dartington’s much publicised sustainability drive.
