Welcome to this month’s newsletter where the focus is on summer and outdoor living. We are also excited to announce that throughout the summer months we will be opening until 7.30pm on a Thursday evening. Come along and browse our new look shops then relax with a meal and a glass of wine in the More Café.

Fashion Gallery

Summer is finally here and to celebrate we have introduced some fabulous new ranges to the gallery.

Musto is a range of high quality casual clothing for both men and women who enjoy outdoor living. This season, classic red, white and blue pieces are key .

Perfect for the beach, The Old Bag is a range of colourful, spotty, yet practical canvas totes and handbags. Take your pick from a great selection of styles and colours.

Looking for the perfect accessory to any outfit? Then pop into the gallery and view our wonderful new range of costume jewellery. Globally sourced bright fashion jewellery from Mint, necklaces by Juzi made from recycled magazines and a vast selection of inexpensive silver earrings.

For the men, we have introduced hand sewn belts from Tanner Bates, a local leather worker whose workshop is on our Dartington estate. The belts use the age old oak bark tanning method with solid brass forged buckles.

My Time

Cowshed is a stylish range of natural, therapeutic products for the bath and home. All with cheeky names there is something for everyone whatever your mood!

With the long summer nights ahead why not treat yourself to some pure cotton lightweight nightwear. We have a collection of pretty embroidered cotton nightwear to keep you cool under the covers.

Outside In

Due to the success of the fresh flowers from Emma Vowles, we are delighted to announce that we will be expanding her range. There will be a larger selection of flowers and even a few plants available to buy in the coming weeks.
More Café

Tea for two anyone? Why not pop into the cafe for a Devon cream tea. Sound tempting? After 3pm we will be offering customers two cream teas for the price of one during July only. Please mention this newsletter when ordering to receive the offer.

Farm Foods

Fresh ideas for summer eating… There’s something special about eating outdoors, so why not make the most of the sun and have a picnic. We have a tempting range of pasties, pies, olives, quiche and much more to pop in your picnic basket. Why not use one of our picnic benches situated around the Cider Press to enjoy your lunch? Try the perfect accompaniment – taste our cider of the day!

Glass Gallery

Cocktails, spirits, wine – whatever your favourite drink we’ve got the perfect glassware to serve and enjoy it with. This month we have a special offer on our Dartington Crystal New World range. Buy 3 pairs for the price of 2, perfect for those summer evenings with friends.

Craft Gallery

The Andrew Lacey sculpture exhibition will run throughout July in the light and airy exhibition space at the end of our new Craft Gallery. In addition, we are showing new work by the following artists: prints by Weld of Moose, Lindsay McDonagh, and Suzie Perring; photographs by Jess Powell; ceramics by Roland Baxter and Laurel Keeley; wood pieces by Sandra Adams; whimsical ceramic ships by Mark Smith; and enamels by Janice Partington.

Toy Shop

Fun in the Sun… We have just launched our fantastic range of outdoor toys for the summer. We have a great choice including garden games, pools, balls, sand toys and ride-ons. Your children will have hours of fun!
