More about Social Justice at Dartington
Throughout Dartington’s history the search for what was once called ‘an abundant life’ has been at the heart of our work. Taking many and differing forms as Dartington and wider society evolved and changed, today our commitment to a socially just world is led by Britain’s principal evidence-informed practice agencies, Research in Practice (RiP) and Research in Practice for Adults (RiPfA).
Both are committed to helping good quality, highly relevant research evidence to inform planning and delivery of services to children, families and adults who find themselves in vulnerable situations. Such clear thinking helps to positively shape a society where young and old are entitled to the same life chances and opportunities as all other citizens. Each is firmly focused on delivering equality and human rights to all those with particular needs. The combined efforts of RiP and RiPfA are ensuring that individuals and groups throughout England and Wales are receiving fair treatment and a just share of the benefits of our society.
