Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs

The Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs provides training and opportunities that enable people with entrepreneurial ideas to achieve positive change in their communities. Dartington SSE was launched at Dartington in January 2010 and is one of ten schools in the UK and beyond.

We visited our first cohort one year on to find our what they had acheived one year after the course.

“Everyone has the capacity to be remarkable”Lord Michael Young, Founder of the School for Social Entrepreneurs.

The Start Up Fellowship Course.

Our Start Up Fellowship Course is six months long and the next programme will in April 2012. This will includes 24 days face-to-face training time, including fact-finding visits to successful institutions who share the Dartington SSE commitment to providing social benefit. Budding social entrepreneurs on the programme are inspired by sessions with successful social entrepreneurs who’ve made a difference themselves, guided in one-to-one tutorials and take part in an action learning set with their fellow students.
