As per usual, our eternally popular local offer will be up and running following the Easter bank holiday. This offer allows anyone living within the TQ postcode area to experience selected Summer School courses at a vastly discounted rate, on a non-residential basis. There are some fantastic courses on offer this year, a full list of which are available here.
A number of our courses are now full or approaching capacity. Our accommodation is also filling up quickly, with some areas already full. For a comprehensive list of course and accommodation availability please click here.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, New York Chamber Brass are no longer able to be with us this Summer. The Advanced Brass Chamber music course will instead be run by Chaconia Brass, an exciting quintet comprised of Paul Archibald (trumpet), Tom Rainer (trumpet), Adam Walters (horn), Aidan Chamberlain (trombone) and Nick Etheridge (tuba). Chaconia Brass are Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, and feature principal players from the Trinidad and Tobago Philharmonic Orchestra. We are delighted that they can be with us, and look forward to welcoming them to Dartington for the first time this summer.
Please note that chamber music in week 3 is now completely full. If you wish to organise your own chamber music while at Dartington, there is no deadline, but do remember in that case you’ll need to book your own room, find your own music and will not be eligible for coaching from the Solstice quartet.
