Deposit

A deposit of £50.00 per course must be paid to make a course booking. Payment can be made online, using a credit/debit card, or by posting a cheque with your booking form.

Instant Bands (ROCK BAND AND SAMBA) should be paid in full.

Balance of Fees

The balance of fees are due by the 3rd July, after which date, reserved places may be offered to those on the waiting list.

Cancellation

Fees and deposits are refundable if a booking is cancelled before the 5th June, less £15.00 handling charge. Refunds cannot be made after that date unless the course is cancelled.

Once your booking has been processed you will be sent a booking confirmation letter and any final details relating specifically to your course.

PLEASE NOTE: Our courses are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, and course numbers are strictly limited.

Course fees

The cost of each course is given alongside each course description. All fees are inclusive of

• Tuition costs
• Lunch every day and refreshments throughout the day
• Travel to other venues, where appropriate
• Use of all equipment and resources as required
• Two tickets for family members or friends to attend the end of week performances.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available to help with the cost of course fees and to support access to the courses for those with financial need.
The primary criteria for financial support are:

• Low Income Families particularly those in receipt
  of benefits e.g. income support, incapacity benefit etc, and
• Low Income Individuals e.g participants age 16-20 who
  live independently; and others who, without financial support,
  would not be able to attend.

How to apply for financial assistance

Please fill in appropriate section on the booking form. The deadline for financial assistance applications for 5th June 2009. Proof and evidence of income should be brought when you register on the first day at the start of your course or a photocopy can be sent by post.

Please send a photocopy of the evidence and your letter to DSYP, Community Arts Office, KEVICC, Ashburton Road, Totnes, Devon TQ9 5JX.

Students from KEVICC will need to complete an application form to the Foundation Governors. Forms are available from the Community Arts Office or Students Services and should be returned to the Community Arts Officer, KEVICC, Ashburton Road, Totnes TQ9 5JX.
