STOP PRESS!! Music Theatre and Music Theatre Band will now be taking place in the Foxhole Theatre at Dartington Hall, near Totnes in Devon. This is during the prestigious Dartington International Summer School so students will be surrounded by an exceptionally vibrant musical atmosphere! All fees remain the same, very limited accommodation in single rooms is available for the first few to book.

Work with acclaimed Music Theatre composer/writer David Haines on his space musical Granny Galactica – an amazing journey in song around the galaxy, but with a poignant and topical environmental sting in the tail. We’ll work as a team to put together as full a production of the show as possible in just five days. You’ll find yourself not only performing, but directing, choreographing, designing, stage managing – even doing Front of House duties on performance day – lucky Friday the thirteenth!

David has worked on numerous productions of his own and other writers’ music theatre in both the UK and the USA, and has a growing reputation for his science-inspired work. He is currently songwriter-in-residence with the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and the Millennium Seed Bank.

Join us for an intensive but thrilling week, creating a great performance!
