This course will give young photographers expert advice and practical guidance to develop skills in two key areas of professional photography; rock and pop music and music theatre production photography. The course is for 5 days spread over two weeks, and provides opportunities for photographers to shoot at two performance events at the Ariel Centre in Totnes and at Dartington Hall. Each week will involve preparing for the live action shoot through collaboration with the performing groups and developing photography skills. After the shoot, you will spend a day selecting, editing and developing or printing your work. This course is suitable for young people who have some experience of hobby photography, and beginners. The course will end with an exhibition of your work at the Ariel Centre Gallery and at Dartington Hall.
