Schumacher Seminar: Mobilising Democracy to Tackle Climate Change
15 April 2010
What innovations are needed in democracy and participatory decision-making, to deliver the actions required to mitigate and adapt to climate change?
This is the fundamental question being explored during Mobilising Democracy to Tackle Climate Change which takes place in central London 19-20 April, 2010.
The seminar is a collaboration between Salzburg Global Seminar together with The Dartington Hall Trust, Schumacher College and the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development.
Hosted by London’s Goodenough College, the seminar is designed for leaders and change makers in central and local governments, businesses, non-governmental organisations and communities, and anyone concerned with mobilising democracy to tackle climate change.
