The traditional songs, arranged by Eliza Carthy and Roderick Williams, are inspired by the values of the modern Olympic and Paralympic movements.

Over Summer 2012 the songs will be performed in four locations connected to the Games – Chipping Campden, Much Wenlock, Weymouth and Portland Harbour and Aylesbury.

The performances at Wenlock Priory, Weymouth and Portland Harbour and Aylesbury are part of the London 2012 Festival, the spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration running from 21 June until 9 September 2012, bringing together leading artists from across the world with the very best from the UK.
