About this event

After a long year of no public-facing concerts, Black Voices marks our return to presenting live music at Dartington.

A mix of genres and styles, woven with stories of life through a journey of love, hope, social justice and truth, Black Voices deliver spirituals, blues, jazz, pop, gospel, reggae, folk and contemporary fusions.

It will be incredible to once again experience the joy and healing that only live performance gives, and this return will be especially important in affirming the enormous benefits of music through the power of Black Voices’ soul stirring, extraordinary voices, as our nation recovers from a difficult year.

Black Voices are:

Sandra Francis
Beverley Robinson
Cecelia Wickham-Anderson
Shereece Storrod, Artistic Director
Carol Pemberton MBE, Managing Director
