About this course

Saturday and Sunday
15th and 16th of June
10-4 pm each day

We are very pleased to be able to offer you a two-day print workshop with Lou Tonkin.

Lou is an influential Cornish printmaker who specialises in nature inspired prints.

“We will spend the weekend together as a group, working with sketches from Dartington Gardens and favourite found objects to create individual print artworks to take home. During the weekend, we will first create a wonderful still life together, from which you will create designs to cut into a lino block. From this block you will print your own artworks.

Please feel free to bring your own piece of nature or favourite found object.
Please wear old clothing or overalls. Examples of Lou’s work can be found on Instagram and Facebook

Visiting Dartington Hall

At our 1,200 acre estate, based in South Devon, there’s plenty to explore – from the natural beauty of the grounds, to our visitor attractions and year-round events programme. You can also make a stay of it with our historic hotel or campsite, and enjoy award-winning food and drink in our cafes and restaurants.

About us

Dartington is an old place with a new story.

The Dartington Experiment began in 1925 and was based on the idea that humans are many-sided – and how we need environments that encourage our whole being to flourish, in connection with nature and each other.

This idea is as true today is it ever was.
