Master the art of sourdough with Dan Mifsud, baker and proprietor of the popular Almond Thief Bakery in South Devon, on this lovely weekend course.

During this weekend of enjoyable baking you will learn from the master himself, Dan Mifsud, baker and proprietor of the popular Almond Thief Bakery in South Devon.

On Saturday, join us for an afternoon start for a quick lesson on the theory behind sourdough and then jump into mixing, shaping and proving, ending the day with a convivial shared supper in the bakery.

On Sunday we’ll get an earlier start, baking the previous day’s bread and spending a full day making more, stopping for a shared lunch.

Over the two-day course you will learn the basics of sourdough and how to make a range of sourdough loaves, including porridge bread, sprouted grain, and seeded breads.
