About this event
Printmaking is one of the most intriguing and absorbing of the visual arts, and these workshops offer the chance for all levels of experience to learn in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in exhibitions such as ‘Off the Peg’, as well as the Artists’ Book collaborations which are a regular yearly feature.
SUMMER AVAILABILITY: There are one or two places available for the Summer term at Dartington’s celebrated Print Workshop which starts on June 5th.
Please email Michael Honnor if you are interested, as soon as possible, as they won’t be there for long! People generally sign up for one day a week during June and July. No previous experience needed. It would be helpful if you could include your phone number when you email Michael. His email is email@example.com.
About the workshop
The workshop, located in Shippon Yard just outside the Courtyard of the Great Hall, is equipped to a high standard for a wide range of printmaking methods. It is one of the best-established workshops in the South West, drawing on a wealth of knowledge and experience in printmaking as well as offering a unique collaboration with a bookbinding workshop. There is an emphasis on the use of non-toxic materials.
Enrolment for day sessions is for 10-week terms with sessions taking place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the year. Evening classes also take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30-9:30 – please get in touch if you wish to attend these.
