About this event
You can join us in socially-distanced seating in the Great Hall for this event, or watch along online (look for the appropriate option at checkout). Registration will close and online talk ticket holders will receive a link to join the talk 24 hours before the event start time.
There is something electric about Dylan Bowen’s ceramic work. Seeing him demonstrate his slipware decoration live is an unforgettable experience.
This evening is your chance to see Dylan demonstrating his decorating process, and to witness his energy and spontaneity firsthand.
Dylan’s style of loosely thrown monochromatic work as a slipware potter is well-established. He trained at the Shebbear Pottery in north Devon and Camberwell School of Art in London and now Dylan and his partner Jane Bowen, who is also a potter, now work from their studio in Oxford.
Join us in person or online – but be warned, you might need a waterproof if you’re sitting in the front row!
Dylan is also running a course at Dartington in November which you can find out about here >
