About this event

A hilarious new film adaptation inspired by the irreverent, bestselling book series.

Atti (Sebastian Croft) is a Roman teenager with brains, but very little brawn. When one of his schemes falls foul of Emperor Nero (Craig Roberts), he joins the army and heads for miserable, cold, wet Britain, where the natives are revolting – quite literally. Things go from bad to worse when he’s captured by Orla (Emilia Jones), a feisty teenage Celt with dreams of becoming a warrior like Boudicca (Kate Nash). But will they fall on opposite sides or forge a friendship in the chaos of Celtic-inspired rebellion?

4 ½ stars “really funny and clever” 10-year-old Ashton
