About this event

Join us for a live chat online session to discuss our MA Poetics of Imagination, which has its next intake in September 2021. This is your chance to speak directly with the lecturers who will be teaching on the programme. Find out more about this exciting new course and get all the information you need in order to complete your application. Register your place via the booking buttons below to receive the Zoom link on the day.

The first session on 22 March will be led by Dr Tracey Warr.

The Poetics of Imagination Master’s programme explores orality, story and culture, examining how we have conjured stories from the earliest times to the present day. It is centred around oral telling but opens to a broader spectrum of the arts, examining the work of ancient to contemporary storytellers, writers and artists. From physically tracking folktales across the wilds of Dartmoor to three day tellings of myths that form much of the crucible of modernity, we will explore the reality that when humans imagine, they tend to imagine in story. What is trying to be told right now?

The application deadline for this course is 1 May. If you are ready to apply now, head to our online applications portal via this link.
