About this event

Aged 8-15? Do you talk about sport all the time? Get your voice heard on live radio. For aspiring commentators, football fanatics and anyone looking to work in media. Reporting skills, sound recording, match analysis, quizzes and fun bits and bobs.

Soundart Radio is the licensed community station for the Totnes area, broadcasting full time on 102.5FM since 2006. We are registered with Ofsted to provide an affordable, high quality childcare service of arts and media activities for children and young people. Saturday afternoons are dedicated to sport. Young people are supported to develop their radio ideas with us, and given training to use our live broadcast studio and portable equipment. The next generation of sports presenters starts here.

All our workers are qualified artists, DBS checked and First Aid trained.

Visiting Dartington Hall

At our 1,200 acre estate, based in South Devon, there’s plenty to explore – from the natural beauty of the grounds, to our visitor attractions and year-round events programme. You can also make a stay of it with our historic hotel or campsite, and enjoy award-winning food and drink in our cafes and restaurants.

About us

Dartington is an old place with a new story.

The Dartington Experiment began in 1925 and was based on the idea that humans are many-sided – and how we need environments that encourage our whole being to flourish, in connection with nature and each other.

This idea is as true today is it ever was.
