About this event

Dartington’s printmaking workshop presents a special and unusual exhibition of handmade books, conceived and created here at Dartington Hall.

This exhibit runs throughout Ways With Words in a beautiful handmade yurt on our Great Lawn. The collection of works are primarily visual narratives, some with interrelated text which parallels with the illustrative elements of the books. The exhibition will showcase the works of beginner and established printmakers, exhibiting side by side – demonstrating the principles of collaborative and lifelong learning.

Book making workshops with Michael Honnor

These intriguing and energetic workshops, presented by the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, offer the chance to explore fascinating printmaking techniques, make images, add a word or two and sew the result into your own small handmade book. All materials, tools and simple concluding lunch provided.

Michael is the long-standing and highly regarded tutor at Dartington Hall’s printmaking workshop.
