About this event

Dexter Fletcher’s epic musical biopic about Elton John’s breakthrough years is a triumph.

Starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden and Bryce Dallas Howard, scripted by acclaimed playwright Lee Hall, it charts the young Reg Dwight’s (Egerton) rise to fame from the Royal Academy of Music, through his enduring and influential partnership with Bernie Taupin (Bell) as well as his struggles with depression, substance abuse, and his sexuality. Witty and touching, Rocket Man is an immensely entertaining portrayal of an unlikely and idiosyncratic star.

⭐  “a heart-racing, toe-tapping, deliriously entertaining triumph” Robbie Collin, The Telegraph

About us

Dartington is an old place with a new story.

The Dartington Experiment began in 1925 and was based on the idea that humans are many-sided – and how we need environments that encourage our whole being to flourish, in connection with nature and each other.

This idea is as true today is it ever was.
