Santa's Grotto

A little bird has told us that Santa himself is set to pay Dartington Estate a visit each weekend and during the school holidays this December!

Father Christmas will be parking his sleigh and settling into a magical Grotto in Dartington’s historic Courtyard. He cannot wait to meet little ones and tell them all about life in the North Pole, how Rudolph and friends are, and about all the hard work his helper elves are doing to get ready for the “big night”. Santa will of course be giving out little gifts too!

What is included in the experience?

• 5 – 10 minutes exclusively with Santa in his pretty Grotto
• A small gift for each child

The Estate will be in full merry mode throughout December…
Dartington’s Courtyard and trees will be beautifully lit, Christmas trees decorated, and festive food and drink served in the White Hart. Why not tie in a Santa visit with one of our other seasonal events – December highlights include the fabulous Great Hall Craft Fair (1-3 Dec), magical family theatre shows, screenings of “Wonka” and “Wish” at the Barn Cinema, plus, carol singing, festive concerts and more!
