About this event

Monday 21 October will see the peak of the Orionids Meteor Shower and we’re hosting a very special event at Camp Dartington from 9pm onwards, with an evening of comet catching and stargazing.

PLEASE NOTE that this event was previously scheduled for Tuesday 13 August (Perseids meteor shower). If you are a ticket holder for that event you don’t need to do anything – your ticket is valid for this new date and time.

The event will run from approximately 9-11pm and will include a talk about the wonders of the Perseids meteor shower whilst you tuck in to a hot-dog and a hot chocolate (please let us know if you’re veggie, vegan or have any other dietary needs). After that, and with full tummies and brains bursting with astronomical knowledge, you can settle in and get ready some for some serious stargazing and meteor spotting (fingers crossed!).  Telescopes will be provided.

Please bring a blanket to sit on, a refillable water bottle, insect repellent, a torch and a coat. And maybe a pillow if you’re feeling extra fancy.

**Stargazing Sleepover Offer – 25% off tent pitches**

Why not have a Stargazing Sleepover and pitch up for the night at Camp Dartington? Once you’ve booked Stargazing at Camp Dartington you will receive a confirmation email with a discount code for 25% off at Camp Dartington for any stay beginning on the 12th or 13th of August.

See you there!

Suitable for children 6+ accompanied by an adult.
