Society has a systemic problem. We consume products and materials with limited knowledge of where they come from, who is making them and where they will end up when we have finished with them.
In this talk, Jeremy Grove – of the Sibley Grove design practice – will explore the role design plays in perpetuating our environmental and social problems – and crucially, how design can be a large part of the solution. Jeremy will explain how we can transition to a new system that promotes cleaner products and production, positive labour markets, and reduces demand on our natural resources.
