About this course
3 August, 10am-5pm
Summer Abundance: A gorgeous one-day natural skin care course where you’ll earn to make body scrubs, balms, tonics and a body spritz. In this one day workshop we’ll be learning to connect with the native plants growing around us at this time of year, for both nutritional sustenance & medicinal remedies. Like our ancestors who lived in harmony with the seasons, so today we are continuing this practice. With the increasing rise in world temperatures we are needing to protect our skin now more than ever before. Moreover, an acceleration of air & water pollution has led to a significant rise in skin related conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis. We’ll be tapping into our old friend ‘Nature’ and learning how she can provide for us everything that we need.
17 November, 10am-5pm
Winter Tonics: Just like wise women over the centuries, we’ll harness the of plant goodness to make remedies that will help care for yourself and your loved ones throughout the winter months. Over the course of the day we’ll dive into the botanical world to explore the health giving properties of different herbs with goodies to take home and the confidence to make your own.

Visiting Dartington Hall
Dartington is an old place with a new story.
The Dartington Experiment began in 1925 and was based on the idea that humans are many-sided – and how we need environments that encourage our whole being to flourish, in connection with nature and each other.
This idea is as true today is it ever was.
