One year on
We caught up with our Fellows of 2011, one year after they graduated, to see where they are now and how the Start-Up Fellowship Course helped their journey.
Meet the 2011 graduates:
Sam Alford – EaRTH Trails
EaRTH Trails will engage educationally disaffected young people with the natural environment by delivering skills based environmental education with a mountain bike trails centre.
Jenny Archard – Woodland Journeys
Jenny’s broad experience of working with communities and running Forest School sessions with difficult teenagers led to the founding of Woodland Journeys. Her passion has helped to create a place and programmes for people to ‘connect with their wild nature through the wild woods.
Claire Burton – Hestia Care at Home
Hestia Care at Home provides a local service in the Totnes area for older people, that is responsive to the needs of the individual and the community. Her commitment is to a tailor made holistic approach aimed at enhancing independance and physical wellbeing.
