Enjoying your stay at Camp Dartington

Arriving

For directions to the Campsite and to see where it’s located on the Dartington estate, visit this link (external site, Google Maps).

Check in time is between 15.00 – 19.00. We advise that you arrive in good time so as to be settled in before dark. On arrival please follow signs to the Foxhole car park – 200 meters away. If there is no one to greet you when you arrive, look out for some grey wooden sign posts and stop in the ‘drop off zone’ to unpack your tent, then set up anywhere in the field. The campsite parking is marked and is about 200m metres away, just follow the sign.  This parking is free but please be advised that should you park anywhere else on the estate, parking charges may apply so do check.

On Site

There is no Wifi in the campsite and we hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy your time in nature away from screens. If you do need to stay in touch; there is Wifi available at the Green Table café – a 15 minute walk.

Well behaved and child friendly dogs are welcome to stay but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dog Tickets must be purchased along with your booking. Please be sure to clean up after your dog and keep the site beautiful and a safe place for children to play! Please see our leaflet and map for dog owners for good dog walks on the estate and details about on-lead/off-lead places to roam.

We cannot take responsibility for belongings left in tents. Please keep valuables about your person or kept safely out of view in a locked vehicle.

You are very welcome to bring acoustic instruments to play around the fire but please do not play amplified music on site. If there are children sleeping nearby please consider using the central fire so as not to disturb anyone.

We want everyone to enjoy their stay so please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10.00pm. Anti-social behaviour is not acceptable at the campsite and we expect guests to be considerate of the needs of others during their stay.

Leaving

Check-out time is before 11am. If you are travelling on foot or by bike it is possible to leave your bag with us until you are ready to travel.

Please remember to “leave no trace” and take all rubbish and recycling to the recycling points. Bins are clearly marked for landfill and materials to be recycled.
