At our food outlets, we strive to keep our food miles low, our carbon footprint neutral or negative, and our wastage minimal. We actively support small producers to help them grow and produce food in ways that help our planet.
The Green Table
Come for cake and coffee, afternoon tea, and our delicious, daily changing hot and cold menu, simply prepared to let all the natural flavours of our seasonal ingredients sing.
The White Hart pub
Our welcoming pub offers locally sourced food, an atmospheric dining experience and value for money.
The Cider press Centre
Great food and drink options to complement a session of retail therapy – including locally-made treats from The Food Shop, and the brilliant Bayards Kitchen.
Montreal Style Bagels
Fabulous, sweet and savoury filled and plated bagels, baked fresh on the estate. Plus a range of drinks and tipples, ice cream and popcorn. Find them next door to the Barn Cinema!

Our food ethos
At Dartington, food is a celebration of all that is good in the world: a freshly-steamed espresso; a cake bursting with almond and lemon; a roast shared with friends and family and packed with the flavours of the local terrain.

Food is one of the most obvious and consistent ways we interact with our world, our community, and ourselves. What we eat is the end result of choices made over many days or weeks or months, and it impacts our climate, our ecology, and our personal health.
In short, we want our food to be good – for the farmers, for the producers, for the animals, for the land, and for your palate.
