Medieval Courtyard
Dartington’s 14th-century medieval courtyard makes for a unique accommodation experience at the heart of the Summer School activities. The 50 bedrooms are situated in two wings, East and West, with a variety of bedroom types and bathroom configurations. The country-style rooms are styled to embrace modern fashions as well as the heritage of Dartington Hall. Due to the age of the buildings, each room varies in size and bathroom facilities: the Summer School team are able to advise on dimensions and bathroom locations for specific rooms.
The decision was taken to no longer offer televisions in our Courtyard Rooms, to encourage guests to unwind and immerse themselves in nature. We still have an excellent wi-fi connection in our rooms.

Florence Suite
Experience the ultimate in luxury with a stay in the one-of-a-kind Florence Suite. The very spacious suite boasts a separate lounge with sofas, a chaise longue, a table and a charming feature fireplace. The bedroom benefits from a separate seating area. Extra Catering Package | £336
A full week of catering for a second person sharing a double or twin room. You can also purchase this if you are a non-resident with a Courses and Concerts Pass, and wish to dine alongside our residential bookers.
All meals from Saturday dinner through to Saturday breakfast the following week, including cooked and continental breakfast, a light lunch, and a three course evening meal. All food is prepared using fresh seasonal and local ingredients. Vegetarian options are always offered and most specialist diets can be catered for.
Camping | from £9.60/night
Camping pitches are available to book on via the Camp Dartington booking page. An Early Bird 20% Discount for Summer School campers applies until end of February 2023.
To qualify for the Summer School participant discount, participants must purchase a Courses and Concerts pass.

Family Accommodation
Dartington offers some dedicated family rooms in the medieval courtyard, suitable for up to two adults and two children. Under 16s must share a room with a parent or guardian. To discuss the available options, please contact the Summer School office.
Non-residents
If you wish to organise your own off-site accommodation, or live locally, you can purchase a Non-resident Courses and Concerts Pass.
