What is this form for?
Please complete this form if you wish to sell and ticket your event through The Dartington Hall Trust Box Office. For non-Box Office events: if you are holding an event on The Dartington Hall Trust estate, in Dartington village, or in association/partnership with The Dartington Hall Trust, completing this form will allow us to advertise your event on our website, other digital channels and print publications. We encourage all event submissions. Please note this is not a venue enquiry form – if you need a venue for your event, please click here.
Need to submit more than one event?* No problem – you can complete this form as many times as you need to. You’ll see a message once your form is submitted on how to do this.
*Eg two completely seperate events. If you have one event which recurs, you can indicate this in the form below – you don’t need to complete it several times.
Information about selling/ticketing through our Box Office
The correct box office contact details are: 01803 847070 / firstname.lastname@example.org. Opening times are 12.30 – 7pm every day.
Once the Box Office Coordinator has the details of your event, we’ll aim to put your event on sale within seven working days. Dartington Box Office will sell tickets for your event at the agreed % rate + VAT. Dartington Box Office will sell tickets to walk-up audiences on the day/night from the Archway Box Office.
After your event, the Box Office Coordinator will provide a sales report to Dartington’s Finance Department who calculate and process payments/billing. Please complete the PRS forms provided, and email these with a copy of your programme to the Finance Department (contact: email@example.com) to enable Finance to finalise the process.
If your event is in the Hex & Gym, Studio 31, Craft Education Centre or Schumacher College, we will either provide a Box Officer to manage door sales or provide a float to you. Please note that the charge to provide a Box Officer is £10.00 per hour for a minimum of two hours. (Please note we aren’t able to take card payments at the door for these venues.) Tickets bought in advance will either be available for collection from the venue, or a customer list will be provided to you (often useful if your event is off-site).
Information about event marketing
Unless you have a prior arrangement with us, event marketing is at the discretion of The Dartington Hall Trust. Depending on when your event details are submitted to us, we would normally expect to feature your event once in our quarterly What’s New publication and 1-2 times in our weekly e-newsletter, What’s On.
Your event will automatically appear on the Dartington website. You can use the URL www.dartington.org/whats-on for marketing purposes.
If possible, please supply 4 x A4 posters and small flyers which will be displayed in the Box Office Foyer, Roundhouse Café, Visitor Centre and Space Studios Reception.
Our ‘What’s New’ publication includes all events at Dartington and is produced quarterly. The deadline for this publication is normally two months in advance:
November to January issue – deadline is 2nd September
February to April issue – deadline is 2nd December
May to July issue – deadline is 2nd March
August to October – deadline is 2nd June
