Latest guidance and advice for our Higher Education staff, students and visitors report symptoms or an nhs test resultwhat’s the situation?
Following the announcement of a national lockdown in England, Dartington Trust will now hold postgraduate teaching online until at least mid-February on all degree courses at our two faculties, Schumacher College and Dartington Arts School. Please do not travel to Dartington for the start of term. Our full statement can be found here and students have been contacted with further information.
We are following advice from UK government and the NHS, and our priority is the health and safety of our community.

advice for visitors
Non-student visitors are not allowed in our buildings (other than those already open to the public). If family are traveling to Dartington with students, we request that they drop off their students in the car park.
We encourage all visitors to the campus to download and use the NHS Track and Trace app, and to use the app to ‘check in’ when visiting by scanning the QR code at check in points.
This means that NHS Test and Trace can contact you if, for instance, there is an outbreak linked to our premises, and provide you with appropriate public health advice.
On the Dartington estate, you can check in at the following locations:
- The White Hart
- The Green Table
- Refectory (student dining area)
- Elmhirst Library
- Courtyard Library
- EDT Studio
- …plus other venues where public-facing events are taking place
