Ensemble Tartit

The four men and five women of Ensemble Tartit (meaning ‘Union’) are Tuareg, haling from the Timbuktu region of Mali. Since their formation in 1994 Tartit has performed with musicians including Ali Farka Touré, Tinariwen and Robert Plant at prestigious festivals around the world.
