Dartington Food Fair 2012

After the first Dartington Food Fair was such a great success, this years event, held over the Jubilee weekend, aims to be even better!

A great family fun day out

Three days of celebrating and sampling the incredible wealth of produce in the South West of England. The food festival will include over 50 local producers, chef demonstrations, family entertainment, live music and Diamond Jubilee celebrations. In addition for this year, there will be a craft marquee for you to enjoy.

In association with Taste of The West the 2012 Food Fair takes place at The Shops at Dartington, just off the A385 near Totnes in Devon. h3.

Opening Times

Sunday 3rd June – 10.00 – 6.00pm
Monday 4th June – 10.00 – 6.00pm
Tuesday 5th June – 10.00 – 5.00pm

• Chef demonstrations throughout the event from award winning chefs such as Mitch Tonks from the famous seahorse restaurant
• Food marquee with over 50 local producers
• ‘Special guest appearance’ from Susy Atkins, well-known wine expert from the hugely popular TV show ‘Saturday Kitchen’
• Children’s activities from clay pot making to face painting, fire juggling shows, animal petting, pizza making and much more
• Several eating opportunities including the Venus Cafe, Fish Face, Peradon Organics and much more…
• Back for 2012 – the popular Devon cider bar hosted by Ashridge Cider
• Live music everyday
• Bake a cake for a ‘Queen’ competition
• Diamond Jubilee themed Tuesday – with a 50’s focus, so get dressed up to win a hamper!
• Bookable sessions of kayaking, archery and bike riding with Dynamic Adventures
