The Arts at Dartington

About the Arts at Dartington

Dartington has an exciting arts programme planned for 2015.

In August we’re looking forward to a four-week Dartington Summer School. This will be the first Summer school under our new Artistic Director Joanna MacGregor.

Arts programme 2015

We have a seven-day a week Barn Cinema schedule of live event cinema, art, children’s and blockbuster films.

And our very popular printmaking classes with Michael Honnor and bookbinding with Mary Bartlett continue to welcome new students at the start of each term.

We also continue to be fully committed to providing artistic space for the community in our studios, and are currently exploring how we best manage and make use of our many artistic spaces.

Dartington remains committed to the arts as a central part of what we do. It supports many of our strategic ambitions in enriching lives, learning, the place and inclusion.

However, the current financial pressures on the Trust mean we are unable to make any additional investments to build new projects or programmes at this time. This means our focus will be on supporting and maximising the impact of the arts activities that already happen at Dartington.
