Roll up, roll up… Welcome to a brand new monthly night of side-splitting comedy at Dartington!

The last Thursday of each month, we’ll be playing host to some of the very funniest folk on the UK stand up circuit, including plenty of names you’ll have seen on the telly box on shows such as Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and Have I Got News For You among others. The bar will be fully stocked and the laughs will be rolling down the aisles, so make sure join us for a great night out!

LAURA LEXX
As seen on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Roast Battle, Celebrity Mastermind and Hypothetical Laura Lexx is a star on the rise, one of those rare comics to reach the top of the live comedy club circuit and then expertly make the jump across to polished Edinburgh Festival shows and fantastic television appearances. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral.
Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut Laura received an unprecedented reaction both from the live crowd and audiences at home, which lead to her appearing in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few.
Having reached the lofty heights at the top of the live comedy club circuit, headlining at clubs around the UK and Europe, Laura also boasts a series of highly-polished and critically acclaimed stand up shows on ITVX, is the published author of Klopp Actually and Pivot her debut novel, and is an in-demand writer on shows such as Have I got News For You (BBC), The Now Show (BBC R4) and The Really REALLY Rude Puppet Show (Dave).

DAVID ARNOLD
Award winning comedian David Arnold is a real find, blending both mainstream and alternative styles of comedy in an original and very memorable way. Since bursting onto the comedy scene in 2012 he has shared the stage with comedy royalty and performed for sellout crowds in the UK and internationally on board some of the World’s biggest cruise ships.

MC – LUKE HONNORATY
The North Devon Stand Up is a confident, engaging performer whose skilled story telling is sure to captivate any crowd and which has ensured he continues to be the main stage MC for Oceanfest and the MC for the comedy stage at Boardmasters Festival. Luke’s observational comedy which focuses on parenting and relationships, is always delivered with a cheeky but charismatic style, and made him Katherine Ryan’s choice of tour support for her UK tour. He then went on to support Joel Dommet’s tour in 2017 and and Lloyd Griffith on this UK tour 2017, 2018 and 2019. A truly natural and gifted comedian and Presenter of the Comedy Special for BBC Radio Devon, Luke makes you feel most comfortable talking about the most uncomfortable subjects; the way in which he communicates such topics whilst making you fall further in love with his boyish charm is all part of the Honnoraty experience.
